These recordings and transcripts are processed solely to improve service, ensure accuracy, and support the trusted advisor relationship.

2. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information for the following purposes:

3. SMS Communications & Consent
When you provide your phone number and submit a form on Umego’s website—or when you text our designated number—you consent to receive SMS messages from your assigned Umego Brand Ambassador.
3.1 SMS Consent Disclosure
By opting in, you agree to receive messages related to:
- Appointment coordination
- Visit scheduling
- Wine releases and new vintage updates
- Shipment notifications
- Customer experience follow-ups
- Concierge recommendations
- Event invitations and confirmations
Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
3.2 How to Opt Out
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Stopping SMS communication does not affect other forms of communication unless requested.
4. Data Ownership, Storage, and Retention
4.1 Ownership of Recordings & Transcripts
Umego owns the recordings, data capture, and transcripts created during your interactions. This ownership applies only to the transcript as a work product. However, your personal information contained within that transcript remains yours and is protected under this Privacy Policy and applicable data privacy laws.
4.2 No Sale of Personal Information
We do not sell, rent, or exchange your personal information or recordings for monetary or other valuable consideration.
4.3 Data Retention
We retain recordings and transcripts only as long as necessary for:

- Verifying transaction details
Unless required by law, we securely delete these materials no later than 90 days after you terminate your participation in the Trusted Advisor program.
